SVEK Computing Ltd
SVEK Computing Ltd was formed in 1987 as a mainframe consultancy
company. It's skill set at the time was founded in ICL TPMS Tuning and Support
together with IDMS Database design.
It has had a number of clients during the years
The main resource of the company was and still is Kevin Jenkins
who in 1995 started cross training to VB / VBA development.
In 1996 Kevin was involved in a project migrating legacy systems
from ICL databases to MS SQL Server and felt that the future for the company lay
in client server development and hence cross trained - using his database design
and programming skills to migrate to SQL Server and VB Development.
Kevin has experience of Erwin/Erx and S-Designor database tools
and whilst would not class himself as an NT expert has a fair understanding of
NT, more in the integration with SQL Server than as a file server.
